Project | Lodging Hospitality Management Breast Cancer Awareness
During my internship with LHM, I sought out an opportunity to be involved with the company's community service. During my orientation, I expressed this desire to our corporate trainer and was allowed to take over the Breast Cancer Awareness project. This project involved breast cancer research (including detection, support services, and treatments) and design of the infographics. All infographics were designed on canva.com. These images will be emailed to all employees of LHM in October 2016.

Project | Marketing Plan: Trix

For my Principles of Marketing class at Truman we were assigned an industry and then a brand within that industry. We determined the strengths and weaknesses within the company as well as external opportunities and threats. From there, we built a positioning map, developed new strategies, and proposed new target markets. This project allowed me to develop my teamwork skills and to utilize my photoshop skills in the design of a new box for Trix (which can be seen in the gallery to the left).

Project | Marketing Research: Student Entrepreneurial Venture

For my Marketing Research class at Truman, we applied to work with live clients and perform marketing research for them. My team was responsible for research that focused on demand (and whether that demand was located online or in physical stores) for animal-related products. This project allowed me to explore all facets of marketing research including survey design, marketing the survey, and drawing conclusions from the analyzed data. The research is being built upon by the current Marketing Research class.

Project | BOB Prom 2014: "The Fresh BOBs of Bel-Air"

Every fall semester my non-Greek social sisterhood, Beta Omega Beta, holds an event called "Bob Prom". In 2014, I served as philanthropy chair and was responsible for all aspects of the event: I scouted locations, made and ordered decorations to fit the theme, organized ticket sales, and organized volunteers. The event raised roughly $400 and the money was donated to Victim Support Services, a local charity dedicated to victims of abuse.

Project | Brand Management: Kellogg

For my Brand Management class at Truman we were assigned an industry and then a brand within that industry. We did a full industry and company analysis and then created a new product to push the company into new territories. To appease the on-the-go mentality of consumers, we developed mini-muffins based on popular flavors of Kelloggs' cereals and developed a full marketing plan to accompany the product. My largest responsibilities in this project were conducting a Brand Audit and creating a prototype.
